I dunno if you're aware about that but several devs are actually working on swg servors to be able to run servers based on swg pre cu. For example :

I find this quite interesting and i was wondering ... if some of those projects eventually came to reality would you be interested in joinning it ? i'd personnally be Very Happy

it's my guess that many would, kashi would confess that conan was a herring, osvo would say "wow" - Romero would crack his knuckles ready to get some serious slaying done

im sceptical these servers would ever work, BUT if they get them up and running I sure would give them a go

I think everyone who was there at the beginning cite their best experiences were from SWG

IF the servers were to ever come up and run properly even though the days of Odalvern are long gone I'd certainly be up for giving it a go again.

Wow! That's great news!

I think SoE has shot themselves in the foot. I never really imagined this could be done legally, but as a non-profit making thing, these devs are convinced it's totally legit! Shocked

Everyone harks back to the pre CU days, and there's definitely enough interest to sustain it. Massive interest. As long as they can create a stable server, one that doesn't delete your toons after a month of playing, then this could be awesome!

And as a plus, it'd be free to play too! Razz

If they were to get a server off the ground, then I'd definitely give it a go Smile

Well i've joined the SwgEmu boards and have just reinstalled my old swg discs :p

currently patching, will go and see their test center and maybe play there a little as a beta tester to help them.

i've played for about 30 mn ... it really brings back so many souvenirs ....

As on normal test centers you have NPC's that can teach you directly skills, took MTKA ... got my ass kicked by a dewback ... but the impressions are so good Smile

miss this unarmed 3 so much ! Very Happy
